So, what will you do?
- Carry out plating operations following work instructions
- Read drawings to ensure that steel is cut to specification
- Accurately assemble and ensure that plating is carried out to spec
- Cut and prepare plates / sections
- Tack welding
- Assemble fabrication work to pass to welders for final assembly
- Work with inspections and quality teams
- Support training of apprentices and new employees

- Time served through a recognised training programme, such as an apprenticeship
- Competency in reading and understanding engineering drawings
- Competency with equipment, someone who continually trains to meet trade requirements
- A passion for meeting and exceeding customer requirements
- Efficiency and productivity with a focus on achieving targets
- Willingness to take on new challenges to develop competency
